Age: 23
Concerns: Acne (hormonal). Gillian’s acne is evident on her chin, jaw & neck. Also prevalent are blackheads and scarring.
Course of Action
In salon Treatment:
Gillian was placed on an aggressive treatment plan firstly to treat the visible (soreness, redness, inflammation and pustules), and secondly to treat the cause of her acne.
Her in-salon treatment so far consisted of 5 x Alpha-H Pro-X Peels, which included extractions of blackheads and whiteheads to prevent future papules (sore, red lesions) and pustules. The first 2 treatment we also used the Azulene Mask to de-sensitise and strengthen Gillian’s skin. As you can see after only 5 treatments Gillian’s skin has improved considerably.
At Home Treatment programme:
Gillian was provided a bespoke programme designed to target her existing conditions and those underlying.
Triple Action Cleanser – Morning and night
Alpha E Serum – After cleansing each morning.
Light Daily Defense SPF 15 – each morning after Alpha E serum
Liquid Gold – Each alternate night, after cleansing.
Alpha A&E 50:50 Serum – Alternate nights when not using Liquid Gold
Rejuvenating Cream – Apply after Alpha A&E Serum
15% Glycolic Hydrating Mask – After cleansing on a weekly basis.
Purifying Clay Mask – after 15% Glycolic Hydrating Mask. Was also used as a spot treatment.
Gillian is half way through her treatment programme and is delighted with the results seen thus far. She is feeling much more confident and no longer feels she can’t leave home first without applying a thick layer of makeup.
